My boxes, though now they serve as workbenches and a temporary tool supply for out apprentice as he gets up to speed. I need to get them the hell out of here before they get any dirtier, I haven’t worked out of them regularly since I came into the office. ‘61 356 is the taillights.

I really want a tool chest like that. I swear I spend almost as much time looking for a tool as I do work on whatever it is at home. It drives me nuts

all these boxes are nicer than mine, which is a mismatched counterfiet, not a mac.

I’ve got one of those creepers, and one of those cars too!

I just picked that creeper up a few weeks ago, and it’s awesome! Even more so, since it’s replacing a super crappy one that I’ve been dealing with for far too long.
A few years ago, when I started to do my own wrenching, I bought some cheeeeeap combo kit that came with a couple of 2-ton jackstands, one of those skinny floor jacks (barely wider than a scissor jack), and a two-piece creeper (assembled with D-clips).
The wheels were so small, they’d get stuck on the smallest bit of gravel and start developing flat spots as I dragged myself out from under the car. It recently started spitting balls out of the bearings, and I just couldn’t take it any more.

still throw mine in the back of the truck when roadwrenching, got a real caddillac of a creeper at napa, with a gearshift thingy to raise the headrest it’s the cat’s ass but heavy as hell.
